I’m pleased to announce that I’ve been awarded a Chalmers Fellowship through the Ontario Arts Council in 2023. The fellowship will allow me to delve into my artistic practice and deepen my knowledge of the field. I’ll be using the grant to travel to Rome, Madrid, and London, UK, in 2024/2025 to meet with artists engaged in the urban landscape genre, to visit local museums to study the historical artists that have influenced those contemporary artists, and to make my own studies from the same landscapes that inspired both historical and contemporary artists alike. It’ll be an exciting learning process!
The artist gratefully acknowledges the support of the Chalmers Family

Opening Night at the Art Gallery of Hamilton for the new show “Wonder: the real, the surreal, and the fantastic” was a great success! Many people showed up to meet the artists, hear us give our 1 minute artist talk during the tour, and enjoy the evening. Very nice to be in a show with my work hanging beside Alex Colville, Christpher Pratt, Mary Pratt, Evan Penny, Kim Adams and many more talented artists!
Happy to share the good news that I was awarded a Mid-career project grant from the Ontario Arts Council. This grant will be used to accelerate my work on new art and architecture paintings. Thanks to the Arts Council and the taxpayers of Ontario (myself included!) for supporting the arts!!
